HOW THE DITA-LANCIER TRADE-IN PROGRAM WORKS

At checkout, opt in to our Trade-In Program. You'll pay the full price for your new DITA-Lancier frame upfront.

Receive Your New Frame & Trade-In Shipping Label.
When your new DITA-Lancier frame ships from our warehouse, we will send you a prepaid shipping label via email for your trade-in polarized sunglasses.
3.
Send Us Your Trade-In.
Try on your new DITA-Lancier frame. Once you decide to keep your new frame, print the shipping label and use this to send us your trade-in (which must not be missing any lenses, hinges, and/or temples). Your trade-in must be shipped to us within 30 days of delivery of your new frame.
4.
Get a $50 Rebate.
When your trade-in arrives at our warehouse, we'll promptly issue a $50 rebate to your original form of payment.

Try your new DITA-Lancier sunglasses. Once you decide to keep it, use the included return label to send in any used polarized sunglasses.

When your Trade-In frame arrives at our warehouse, we’ll refund $50 back to your original payment method.

Q: Can I trade in any brand of sunglasses?
A: Yes, as long as they have polarized lenses.
Q: Do the sunglasses I trade in have to be in perfect condition?
A: No, but they must not be missing any lenses, temples, or hinges.
Q: When do I get my $50 rebate?
A: Once we receive your qualifying frames, we’ll promptly process the rebate to the form of payment you used to make your DITA-Lancier purchase. The time it will take the rebate to post to your account depends on the financial institution that issued your form of payment.
Q: Can I trade in non-polarized sunglasses?
A: No. Only sunglasses with polarized lenses qualify for the trade-in program.
Q: Can I send in broken or damaged sunglasses?
A: Minor wear and tear is fine, but your trade-in sunglasses must not be missing any lenses, temples, or hinges.
Q: What if I live outside the U.S.? Can I participate?
A: Currently, the Trade In & Trade Up program is only available on orders shipped o the United States.
Q: Can I participate if I purchased DITA-Lancier frames from a retail store or a third party website instead of at www.dita.com?
A: No. The Trade In & Trade Up program is only valid for purchases made through our official website at www.dita.com.

Q: Can I trade in more than one pair of sunglasses for a single purchase?
A: No, only one trade-in is allowed per consumer during the program. All persons residing at the same shipping address provided at checkout will be considered a single consumer.
Q: What if I don’t have the original brand case or packaging for my old sunglasses?
A: That’s okay. You only need to send the sunglasses.
Q: Do prescription polarized sunglasses qualify?
A: Yes, as long as the lenses are polarized.
Q: How do I know if my sunglasses are polarized?
A: Many polarized lenses are labeled with a “P” next to the brand name etched on the lens, but if you’re unsure, check with the brand or try viewing a digital screen — polarized lenses typically create a rainbow or darkened effect.
Q: Do I have to pay for shipping my trade-in sunglasses to DITA?
A: No. We provide a prepaid shipping label for your trade-in. You’ll receive this via email to the address associated with your order once your new DITA-Lancier frame is picked by our carrier for shipment to you.
Q: How long do I have to send in my trade-in sunglasses?
A: You’ll have 30 days from the date your new DITA-Lancier frame is delivered to ship the trade-in.
Q: What happens if I forget to send in my trade-in sunglasses?
A: If you don’t send your trade-in within 30 days from the delivery of your new DITA-Lancier frame, you won’t be eligible for the $50 rebate.
Q: Can I combine this offer with other promotions or discounts?
A: No. The Trade In & Trade Up program cannot be combined with other promotions, offers, or discounts.
Q: Will I still get my $50 rebate if I exchange my DITA-Lancier frame for a different style?
A: Yes. If you exchange your frame for another eligible DITA-Lancier frame and still send in your trade-in sunglasses, you’ll receive the $50 rebate once your exchange is fully processed and the return window for the different style of frame has passed.
Q: Can I trade in eyeglasses or optical frames?
A: No. Only sunglasses with polarized lenses qualify for this program.
Q: How will I know you received my trade-in sunglasses?
A: You’ll get an email confirmation once your trade-in has been received and your $50 rebate is processed.
Q: What payment method will my $50 rebate go to?
A: Your rebate will be credited back to the original form of payment for your order.
Q: What if my trade-in is rejected because the sunglasses I sent in don’t meet the program requirements?
A: If your sunglasses don’t meet the program requirements, we’ll notify you and return them at no cost. In that case, the $50 rebate will not apply.
Q. I forgot to select the rebate option at checkout when I purchased DITA-Lancier frames on www.dita.com. Can I still get a rebate?
A. No, you must have selected the trade in option at checkout to participate.
Q. I purchased DITA-Lancier frames from www.dita.com before the rebate program was offered. Can I still get a rebate?
A. No, the rebate is not available on past purchases.
