Dita, Inc. and Dita Eyewear Global, LLC and its corporate business affiliates (“Dita,” “we,” or “us”) provide this notice (“Privacy Notice”) to inform you of our personal information handling practices for personal information we collect from those who contact us and visitors to https://dita.com/ and other web and mobile sites operated by us that link to this Privacy Notice (collectively, the “sites”).
This Privacy Notice (together with our Cookie Notice) sets out the bases on which any personal data, personally identifiable information, or personal information (“personal data”) that you provide to us or we collect from you through our sites will be processed by us. This Privacy Notice does not cover any personal data we collect offline. If you place an order on the sites from anywhere outside the United States, the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of Global-e (Dita’s international fulfillment service provider) will also apply to you and the personal data Global-e collects from you during the checkout process. The Global-e policies are displayed to customers outside the United States on the checkout page.

When you use our sites, contact us, or make an inquiry via our sites, your personal data will be collected and controlled by Dita, Inc. (a US corporation organized under the laws of the State of California and based at 1 Columbia, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656).

We collect and process the following personal data about you:
Information you give to us directly.
We collect information about you when you: create an account on our sites; place an order from our sites; fill in forms on or interact with our sites; correspond with us (e.g., when you contact Dita’s customer service team); request information about our services; and report a problem with our sites.
The information you give us may include your name, alias, username, date of birth, gender, phone number, email address, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card number, expiration date, verification code, and/or information for alternate payment types), and other information that you choose to provide. Providing such personal data is voluntary. However, without providing such personal data, we may not be able to provide you with information or services you request from us. You will know what personal data you provide because you will actively submit it to us.
Information we automatically collect about you.
In addition to the personal data that you actively provide, the sites may automatically collect, process, and store certain information about you:
- Technical information, including the type and version of your web browser, device identifier, operating system and platform, IP address, and location and time zone setting.
- Information about your site visit, including the pages or products viewed on our sites, the search terms used on our sites or to locate our sites from external search engines, your interactions with the sites (including the duration of visit, where you scroll on those pages, and where you click), and website performance during your visit.

- Ensure that content from our sites is presented in the most effective manner for you and your device.
- Engage in research and development efforts to assess the performance of our sites and services, analyze usage, interests, and trends in connection with our sites and services, improve and personalize our sites and services, and develop new products and services.
- Send you administrative information, including information about our sites and changes to our services, terms, conditions, or policies.
- Handle and record consumer rights requests, including opt-ins and opt-outs.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
To the extent permitted under applicable data protection law, we may share your personal data with:
- Any member of our group. For example, we may share your personal data with Dita’s group companies to provide you with products and services, provide you with customer support, process your payments, understand your preferences, offer targeted advertising, send you information about products and services that may be of interest to you, and conduct other activities described in this Privacy Notice.

- Service providers who act as our data processor. These service providers perform services on our behalf and assist us with the provision of our sites and services. For example, they may assist us with powering our sites, payment processing, processing and fulfilling orders placed by customers, fraud prevention, marketing, purchase financing, and customer support services.
- Analytics and search engine providers that assist us in the improvement and optimization of our sites.
- Business partners that enhance our advertising efforts.

INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Your personal data may be disclosed to employees, representatives, or other third parties including our service providers operating outside of the country you are based and who work for, or are engaged by us or our affiliates in other countries, including the USA and in other countries that we operate. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

If you reside in certain states in the United States, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and Utah, you have or will soon have the right to opt out of the use of your personal data for these targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. The rights and options described above are subject to limitations and exceptions under applicable law. We will respond to your requests to exercise your privacy rights in accordance with applicable law. We may request additional information from you to verify your identity and complete your request. If we deny your request, we will explain why. In some states in the United States, you have the right to appeal our denial, which you may exercise by responding to the message we send to you communicating our denial stating that you appeal our decision. In these cases, we will reconsider your request and then notify you of our decision.
